Protecting Mother Earth:
Reviving Sacred Nature and Holy Rivers
“Prakriti (Nature) is the living manifestation of the Divine.
To serve the environment is to perform the highest form of Ishvariya Karya.”
Headquartered in Haridwar, where the Holy Ganga touches the plains, Shree Jee Sewa Trust bears a firsthand responsibility toward ecological balance. Our environmental stewardship blends spiritual consciousness with aggressive, modern environmental activism to protect our ecosystems, water bodies, and wildlife.
Strategic Environmental Initiatives
Greening the Earth
Instead of random planting, we intentionally focus on planting indigenous, fruit-bearing trees (like Mango, Amla, Jamun, and Neem). This serves a dual purpose: expanding local green cover to combat climate change, and providing a natural food source for local birds and wildlife, thereby reducing human-animal conflict.
Clean Rivers Campaign
The Holy Ganga is the lifeblood of millions, yet it faces constant pollution. We organize Weekly Cleanliness Drives: Volunteers clear plastic, ritual waste, and debris from the riverbanks and ghats in Haridwar and Pilgrim Awareness Camps: Setting up info-booths to educate locals and tourists against dumping non-biodegradable waste into our sacred rivers.
Animal & Bird Welfare
We work tirelessly toward maintaining ecological balance by setting up artificial bird nests, bird feeders, and watering holes in arid patches during peak summers, alongside our core cattle preservation (Gau Sewa) initiatives.
